Scheduled for July 17-18 at the United Nations Office in Vienna, this year’s theme, “2024: Equal Access to Law,” will explore the application of artificial intelligence in enhancing legal frameworks within developing nations.

• Innovative approaches to sustainable development through AI: This year’s forum is dedicated to exploring the expansive role of AI as a catalyst for sustainable development. As technology costs continue to decrease and the utilization of open-source models becomes more prevalent, AI is poised to dramatically improve efficiency and potentially double the productivity of knowledge workers by 2030, thus accelerating global GDP growth. Sessions will delve into AI’s potential to redefine work globally by 2040, with a special focus on the emerging implications for the web3 sector.
• Sectoral integration and adaptive revenue models: The 2024 forum will highlight AI’s growing penetration across various industries, especially under the “AIGC +” model. Notably, discussions will include AI’s role in medical diagnostics, such as its potential to surpass human experts in the accurate identification of conditions like breast cancer. The forum will explore the customization of AI applications across legal and other sectors, discussing revenue models like usage-based charges and flexible SaaS subscription plans that respond to diverse client needs.
