AI privacy startup Lattica emerges from stealth with FHE-powered cloud service

Lattica, a startup enabling secure querying of artificial intelligence models using Fully Homomorphic Encryption, has officially emerged from stealth.
The research and development startup, which offers its FHE solution as a hardware-agnostic, cloud-based service, announced the milestone via a press release on April 23.
In this case, Lattica’s cloud-based solution brings further privacy and security to the querying of encrypted data, without decrypting the AI models.
The venture-backed platform has received support from prominent figures such as Konstantin Lomashuk’s Cyber Fund and Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon Network (POL). The company’s next phase of development marks a critical step toward enabling privacy-focused AI adoption in sensitive industries such as healthcare, finance, and government, sectors where AI uptake has been limited due to concerns around data security.
“By combining the advancements of hardware acceleration with software-based optimization, we realized that not only could we improve FHE efficiency to the point of commercial viability, but use it to solve critical data dilemmas holding back AI’s adoption in sensitive industries,“ said Dr. Rotem Tsabary, founder and chief executive officer of Lattica. “We’re enabling practical FHE by developing a solution that is tailor made for neural networks.”
Notably, about 70% of company executives said in a recent survey that AI adoption is a key concern when it comes to network security and user privacy.
According to Cisco’s 2025 AI Briefing: CEO Edition, 34% of the execs cite security as a key barrier.
Commenting, Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal said:
“Lattica’s product-first approach fundamentally transforms sensitive data processing in the AI ecosystem. Lattica has made FHE a reality that is both practical and scalable.”
The Lattica team is led by Dr. Rotem Tsabary, the founder and chief executive officer. He holds a PhD in lattice-based cryptography from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
The platform is a top player in scientific innovation, with its leveraging of Homomorphic Encryption Abstraction Layer, or HEAL key to its service.
