Binance could delist ZCash
On Jan. 4, 2024, Binance placed a “risk warning tag” on multiple cryptocurrencies, including ZCash (ZEC).
The tag means that the coin is volatile and risky.
Binance may even delist ZEC in the future.
Following this announcement, ZEC prices fell by 3% in 24 hours.
As of Jan. 26, ZEC was down 6%, with analysts forecasting further sell-offs to $20.56 by Feb. 2.
Algorand’s roadmap fails to impress
On Jan. 17, 2024, the Algorand development team unveiled their Technology Roadmap.
Plans revealed include:
- A Consensus incentive scheme.
- The upcoming launch of AlgoKit version 2.
- Enhancements to network speed.
Following this, ALGO rose from $0.189 to $0.199. However, this didn’t last as prices plunged 6% to $0.167.
Analysts remain bearish on Algorand, expecting the coin to crash to $0.159 by Feb. 2.
