Sergey Khusnetdinov, MBA ’13, is the Managing Director of GA^3IN Ventures, where he focuses on blockchain, venture capital, and startup growth. After starting his career in finance and earning his MBA at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, Sergey joined Microsoft before pivoting into entrepreneurship. He went on to lead multiple tech startups, including spearheading the U.S. expansion of an IoT company, and later became a recognized expert in remote market testing during the COVID era. In 2021, Sergey turned his focus to blockchain, launching a crypto VC and hedge fund while helping international companies enter the U.S. market. He co-founded a Web3 venture studio under GA^3IN Ventures and co-organized the first Duke Web3 Conference, reinforcing his deep ties to the Fuqua and Duke community. As a co-chair of the DukeGEN network and an advisor to the Fuqua Blockchain Club, Sergey continues to support entrepreneurship and innovation. His career is defined by tackling big challenges across industries and building impact-driven communities.
