Bitwise CEO reveals wealth management client invested $11M in Bitcoin during recent market correction, marking their first crypto purchase after two years.

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley disclosed that a wealth management client invested $11 million in Bitcoin during the recent cryptocurrency market correction, marking the client’s first entry into digital assets.

The client, who had been in contact with the asset management firm for approximately two years without previously investing in cryptocurrencies, made the purchase during the market pullback, according to Horsley’s statement.

Horsley stated that certain institutional and high-net-worth investors view the recent cryptocurrency market decline as an investment opportunity. The executive noted that a segment of investors remains outside the crypto market and may perceive price declines as entry points rather than risks.

The Bitwise chief executive pointed to Bitcoin’s long-term value proposition and limited supply as factors that continue to attract attention in the wealth management sector, despite price volatility.

Market analysts indicate that large-scale Bitcoin purchases demonstrate ongoing institutional interest in the cryptocurrency independent of short-term price fluctuations, according to the report. Analysts recommend that investors employ risk management strategies to address market volatility.
