BNB and Maker investors considering VC Spectra in ongoing presale

There are now over 150 million Binance users but BNB’s performance remains lackluster. In contrast, Maker (MKR) is resilient amid rising adoption for the DAI algorithmic stablecoin.

Investors are now turning their attention to VC Spectra (SPCT), whose presale is in progress. Bulls are confident in SPCT’s prospects.

BNB Chain prepares for upgrade

As Binance prepares for a network upgrade amid expanding operations and regulatory challenges, BNB’s performance is underwhelming. 

The latest proof-of-reserve report indicates a 1.4% decrease in user balances for BNB, totaling 423,000 BNB.

Artemis data further highlights declines in fees, revenue, and transactions. 

While an upcoming BNB Chain update could address these concerns, the current price of $243, close to its year-to-date low, paints a cautious picture. 

Forecasts suggest a modest target of $300 in the coming months, given the current state.

Focus on DAI, Maker After EDSR

Turning to Maker, the introduction of the Enhanced Dai Savings Rate (EDSR) on July 19, 2023, saw a notable uptick in DAI deposits, rising 76% from 339 million to 556 million DAI.

Although Maker’s price has dipped by 12% from $1369 to $1202, it remains a significant player in the decentralized finance (defi) landscape. 

Despite recent declines in active addresses and social dominance, Maker’s performance in 2023 has been firm and could reach $1,750 by year-end.
