ChainGuardians Launches Cryptoverse, an Immersive Metaverse Powered by Unreal Engine 5
The creators of ChainGuardians (CGG) have announced the launch of Cryptoverse, an immersive role-playing game (RPG) and metaverse based on the advanced Unreal Engine 5 and powered by the Ethereum blockchain. The Cryptoverse is aiming to bring blockchain gaming to mass adoption.
ChainGuardians Unveils The Cryptoverse Metaverse
The makers of ChainGuardians (CGG), a player-driven play-to-earn RPG blockchain game, have unveiled The Cryptoverse, a 3D virtual world built with Unreal Engine 5, one of the most advanced game engines in the world.
Per a press release shared with crypto.news, The Cryptoverse metaverse aims to bring businesses and players together and forge them into one interlocked ecosystem of value, and ultimately bring blockchain gaming to the masses.
According to its creators, The Cryptoverse is made up of an archipelago of eight islands, each representing a different Zone with a unique aesthetic feel tailored to its community. The players and inhabitants of each Zone can customize it to their choice, creating an organic and ever-evolving virtual world.
Just like other established metaverses such as the Sandbox, Splinterlands, and the rest, Cryptoverse will feature its unique social mechanics including various social layers, gamification mechanics, and collectibles that can be owned by players: avatars, vehicles, buildings, land plots – all powered by interoperable NFTs.
Robbie Cochrane, Co-Founder of the Cryptoverse said:
“The Cryptoverse is an immersive 3D virtual world built in Unreal 5 which is underpinned by blockchain technology. Within the Cryptoverse, users will be empowered to create, own LAND, govern and monetize experiences using CGG, the token which also powers the ChainGuardians and ChainBoost ecosystems.”
Cryptoverse LAND Pre-Sale Event
Just like in the real world, where every city has a city center, the Cryptoverse also features a center Zone known as the Hub, which is designed to be the gathering place for all Cryptoversians. The team says the Hub comes with a cyberpunk theme as well as a neon-infused and fluid environment, and it will function as the melting pot for all other Zones
In the Cryptoverse, creators and builders will have access to Dual Architecture SDKs to bring their animations and effects to life. Community members can also use no-code tools and an advanced modding SDK to customize their in-game world.
“The strength of the Cryptoverse lies in its impressive technical realization. Using Unreal Engine 5, a game engine that borders on true photo-realism, the Cryptoverse will be unlike anything that preceded it. The platform will also feature VR, AR, and XR experiences powered by the latest tech and the top cinematic artists from world-class studios,” explains the team.
What’s more, the team says each LAND in the Cryptoverse will offer owners maximum flexibility by leveraging NFT sharding and combination capabilities, as well as unique social engagement opportunities and LANDclearing incentives.
In the coming weeks, the Cryptoverse team will launch a pre-sale event for LAND inside the Hub and other Zones. Buyers will enjoy a 10 percent discount when they purchase LAND from Cryptoverse partner launchpads and NFT marketplaces.
