Colexion Authenticated Celebrity NFT Metaverse Secures $5 Million Funding

Colexion (CLXN), has announced that it has successfully secured $5 million in funding from several institutional investors, including Polygon, Jump Trading Investments, HyperEdge Capital, and many others. Colexion plans to use the funds for the expansion of its metaverse.

Colexion Raises $5 Million 

Colexion (CLXN), the authenticated celebrity non-fungible tokens (NFTs) marketplace and metaverse project, has raised $5 million from a vast array of notable venture capital firms and institutional investors.

Some of the firms that participated in Colexion’s funding round include Titan Ventures, Good Games Lab, Maven Capital, ICO Pantera, Titan Ventures, ZBS Capital, Oracles Investment Group (OIG), Gains Associate, Brevan Howards’s Alan Howard, Jump Trading Investment and Polygon.

Colexion claims to raise the bar for the broader NFT ecosystem by going a step further beyond what existing traditional trading platforms offer artists and collectors. Colexion offers its users access to a personalized virtual museum, play-to-earn games, virtual tournaments, and more.  

The team says it plans to use the raised capital for the development of infrastructure that would foster mainstream adoption of NFTs.

Asia’s Largest Metaverse 

While a good number of Asian nations, including China, have turned their backs against bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies, NFTs are gaining serious traction in the continent, with top brands like Alibaba’s Ant Group, Tencent, and others already rolling out their digital collectibles.

Colexion claims to have grown to become Asia’s largest NFT marketplace, attracting the attention of credible investment firms and private supporters from across the globe.

Colexion says its primary objective is licensing celebrity NFTs, while also ensuring that these super unique pieces remain affordable for the masses.

So far, Colexion says it has successfully onboarded notable names in both the Asian and global entertainment, sports, and movie industries, into its ecosystem and it now has exclusive rights to their NFT content and more.

Colexion recently released a collection of 30 Trump Card NFTs featuring highly reputed international celebrities around the world, making it the biggest NFT drop in this category to date.

$CLXN is the native digital currency of the Colexion metaverse. The team says the CLXN utility token will be supported by various top-tier launchpads, and crypto exchanges, including Redkite, Prostarter, Scaleswap, Firestarter, and more. 

That’s not all, token holders can also trade their NFTs and CLXN in the in-built Colexion marketplace.
