The 2023 World Blockchain Summit is returning to Bangkok, Thailand, on Dec. 13-14. Organized by Trescon, the event will take place at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel and Towers.

Thailand has taken steps to position itself as a regional hub for blockchain innovation in Southeast Asia through a supportive regulatory environment aimed at attracting global startups and companies. The government initiative Thailand 4.0 has solidified blockchain’s integral role in the country’s digital future.

The World Blockchain Summit allows entrepreneurs, startups, and innovators in the blockchain space to showcase cutting-edge solutions and technologies to potential investors and partners. 

Key program components include keynote presentations, panel discussions, and use case demonstrations by leading experts exploring major trends and developments driving blockchain adoption and advancement.

The agenda will cover several topics, including:

  • Bear and bull market trends  
  • Bridging defi and cefi 
  • Blockchain interoperability  
  • Digital assets solutions for businesses and more 

The summit brings together more than 600 decision makers from web3, over 100 investors, and more than 30 experts from the blockchain field. 

The summit also hosts the regional finale of the Startup World Cup, organized by the renowned U.S.-based venture capital firm Pegasus Ventures. 

The competition winner gets an opportunity to pitch at the global finals in San Francisco and stand a chance to win the funding prize of $1 million.
