Covalent launches SpeedRun: Unlocks ‘prompt-to-earn’

Covalent has launched SpeedRun, a first-of-its-kind platform with Prompt-to-Earn, letting anyone instantly turn ideas into tokenized onchain apps and start earning.

Covalent announced the launch of SpeedRun today, a first-of-its-kind platform introducing Prompt-to-Earn: the ability for anyone to turn a simple idea into a live, tokenized onchain application in seconds.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment. Traditional career paths no longer deliver the same promise: degrees no longer guarantee jobs, entry-level roles are being eroded under AI, and housing and debt have become structural barriers to opportunity. For millions of young people, the career ladder is broken, but a new pathway is opening.

Instead of resumes or interviews, builders type a prompt, ship an app, and begin earning. Powered by Covalent’s GoldRush ultra-fast data and integrated smart contract tooling, SpeedRun enables anyone, from creators and meme builders to full-stack developers, to deploy composable onchain apps instantly. Future versions of the platform will distribute rewards in CXT as usage flows through their creations.

With SpeedRun, apps are the new content. Builders can launch quadratic voting systems, Farcaster frames, auction contracts, whale-tracking dashboards, meme leaderboards, and more, all with one-click deployment. Every app surfaces on a discovery board where others can use, remix, and re-ship it into new revenue streams. Every action, publishing, remixing, or driving usage, earns leaderboard XP and, soon, CXT rewards. Attribution is tracked onchain, so builders get credit and remixers capture flow.
