DeFi Land Metaverse Releases Details of Its NFT Seed Sale Event
DeFi Land (DFL) has announced that its Seed NFT sale event will be conducted via the Magic Eden platform and its website on February 8th and 9th respectively, with the mint price for both sales, pegged at 2 SOL per seed. The team plans to drop a total of 2,500 Land DeFi Land Seed NFTs on Magic Eden, while 5,000 pieces of the collectibles will be available for purchase on its website on the said date.
DeFi Land Seed NFT Sale
DeFi Land (DFL), a multi-chain agriculture-simulation gaming metaverse designed to gamify decentralized Finance (DeFi), has entered a new chapter in its DeFi demystification journey by introducing DeFi Land Seeds.
According to the team, DeFi Land Seeds are Solana-based Gen-0 NFTs designed to give DeFi Landers a bounty harvest of Core NFTs necessary to unlock the metaverse’s play-to-earn functionality, when planted and nurtured properly.
In late Q1 20221, DeFi Land’s play-to-earn functionality will officially go-live and members of its ecosystem will only be able to participate using the Core NFTs that will be harvested via the DeFi Land NFT Seeds.
A total of 7,500 DeFi Land Seeds will be minted on the Solana blockchain, out of which 2,500 seeds will be available for purchase on the Magic Eden platform on Feb 8, while the remaining 5,000 DeFi Land Seed NFTs will be sold via the project’s website on February 9, 2022. The mint price is set at 2 SOL tokens per DeFi Land NFT Seed for both sale events.
A Level Playing Ground
To offer members of its ecosystem a level playing ground, the DeFi Land team has made it clear that the entire 7,500 seeds come with the same Metadata meaning they all have the same visual properties and opportunity. Each DeFi Land wallet can only purchase a maximum of 4 seeds.
These seeds must be planted in the DeFi Land game, locked in a smart contract, and watered with $DFL tokens (50 to 150 DFL daily) every 24-hours for 30 days, after which the plants will be ready to be harvested.
The more effort players put into nurturing their plants, the ‘healthier’ the plants will grow up to be, resulting in better Core NFT DFL token rewards after the 30-day lock-up period.
The team says the rewards are based on a 5-Tier system, and every player has the chance to rise to Tier 1, which is the highest tier, depending on how well they water their plants each day. A short description of each tier is listed below.
Tier 5 = 0-750 DFL added in total. The reward is 1 Gen-0 NFT with a small chance of receiving a rare item.
Tier 4 = 751 -2000 DFL in total. The reward is 1 Gen-0 NFT with a small chance of receiving a rare item.
Tier 3 = 2001-3000 DFL in total. The reward is 2 Gen-0 NFT with a higher chance of receiving a rare item.
Tier 2= 3001-4199 DFL in total. The reward is 3 Gen-0 NFTs with a medium chance of receiving a rare item.
Tier 1= 4200-4500 DFL in total. The reward is 4 Gen-0 NFTs with the highest chance of receiving a rare item.
“Your tier will be determined by the consistency of your watering and the amount that you water each day. Suppose you plan your seed but don’t have time for daily watering. You will still get your NFT in Tier 5, but your chances of receiving a rare drop will be lower. If you are a diligent farmer who has accumulated enough DFL to water your seed daily, you can rise to Tier 1 and receive up to 4 Gen-0 NFTs with the highest probability of earning a rare item,” the team explains.
