DogeCon 2025 to advance utility of Proof of Work chains using Solana

DogeCon returns to Abu Dhabi on Dec. 11 as Solana and Dogecoin leaders unite to advance cross-chain Proof-of-Work utility.
Hong Kong, December 8 – Psy Protocol announced the return of DogeCon on 11 December 2025 in Abu Dhabi alongside Solana Breakpoint. This year’s agenda brings together Proof of Work and Proof of Stake leaders, with Solana Foundation President, Lily Liu, and Bitmain’s Ecosystem Manager, Miranda Ma, taking the stage together to discuss how to advance the utility of Proof of Work chains using Solana.
DogeCon 2025 will feature major technical developments, including the much-anticipated Solana to Doge bridge developed by Psy Protocol, as well as a demo of a full Dogecoin lite node running on Solana, enabling trustless communication from Doge to Solana and from Solana back to Doge via Wormhole.
This innovation brings proof-of-work security to Solana while making Dogecoin, the world’s largest memecoin, available to Solana’s ecosystem of dapps. Solana and Dogecoin can now directly ‘speak’ to each other, with each blockchain able to independently verify the other’s transactions and consensus without requiring trust in third parties.
Held at The Hilton Hotel from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM, DogeCon is a platform for the next generation of Dogecoin builders for builders creating the next generation of applications on Doge to learn, collaborate, and build the future of the Doge ecosystem. This year’s event will feature talks and panels from some of the top builders in the Doge ecosystem. The previous DogeCon was held in November 2024 alongside DevCon in Bangkok and was the first event to unite thousands of Dogecoin fans under one roof.
