Evrynet Onboards Three Renowned Advisors Following $7m Fundraiser
Evrynet has announced the addition of three renowned advisors to its team. The newly onboarded experts are Loi Lui, the CEO, and co-founder of Kyber Networks, David Mazieres, the co-founder of Stellar Development Foundation, and MIT’s Professor Robert Townsend, according to a press release on October 15, 2021.
Evrynet Strengthens its Team
Evrynet, a financial services platform focused on making centralized and decentralized finance (CeDeFi) more accessible and less risky for institutional and retail investors alike, has beefed up its team with three more experts in traditional finance and blockchain technology.
Per a press release shared with BTCManager, the Evrynet project, which recently raised $7 million from a host of high-profile investors, has made another clear statement of intent by adding three more experts to its robust team of advisors, to further expand its reach and strengthen its presence in the financial world.
Meet the Experts
Loi Lui is the co-founder and CEO of Kyber Networks, an on-chain liquidity protocol powering numerous decentralized applications (dApps). In addition to co-creating Kyber, Loi has other highly functional inventions to his name, including Oyente, an open-source security analyzer compatible with Ethereum. He also designed the first sharding protocol for public distributed ledgers and his work inspired the development of Zilliqa (ZIL).
David Mazieres is the co-founder of the Stellar Development Foundation and a professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, where he leads the Secure Computer Systems Research Group. Mazieres also co-directs the Center for Blockchain Research and Future of Digital Currency Initiative.
What’s more, the Evrynet team has hinted that Mazieres’ vast knowledge and research expertise in operating systems, distributed systems, and their security, was very vital in the development of the Evrynet platform as well as its whitepaper.
Professor Robert Townsend is a highly reputed professor of economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also a consultant of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, as well as the World Bank. The team says the professor also made significant contributions to the Evrynet whitepaper and its tokenomics.
Commenting on the exciting new additions to its advisory team, Evrynet said:
“We’re excited to have Loi Lui, David Mazieres, and Professor Robert Townsend join our project advisors. We have been working with them on many projects and look forward to many more exciting collaborations in the future, several of which are already in process and will be announced soon.”
As stated earlier, Evrynet recently raised $7 million from a private funding round that attracted top investors such as Signum Capital, Petrock Capital, Elliptive Ventures, and a host of others. At the time, the project made it clear that the funds will be channeled into the development of its CeDeFi solutions and make them accessible to users via the Evry.Finance app.
Through Evry. Finance, institutional investors, as well as the average Joe will enjoy staking services, liquidity provision, and more.
