Gaia EverWorld Metaverse Secures Polygon Grant, Binance NFT Partnership
Gaia EverWorld has announced that it has successfully secured a grant from the Polygon Foundation. The Gaia Metaverse project has also inked a partnership with Binance NFT and has completed its initial decentralized offering (IDO).
Gaia Receives Polygon Grant
At a time when the Metaverse has become the buzzword in the world of distributed ledger technology (DLT), blockchain gaming, and NFT ecosystem, Gaia EverWorld has reached new significant milestones in its Metaverse project and it’s now set to claim its position in the industry.
According to a press release shared with BTCManager, Gaia EverWorld has received the backing of the Polygon Foundation via a grant of an undisclosed amount. The team says it has also inked a partnership deal with Binance NFT marketplace, to make it easier for members of its Metaverse to trade their digital collectibles.
Though nascent, the blockchain-based play-to-earn gaming ecosystem is fast gaining traction and winning the hearts of gamers, as it allows anyone to earn real money while catching fun. The Polygon-based, Gaia EverWorld leverages NFT technology to give gamers a whole new experience and explore opportunities in the Metaverse.
The fully-immersive, play-to-earn blockchain game allows gamers to own in-game heroes dubbed Gaias, as well as other characters. Players can explore a muli-realm world with various game modes and Gaias level up throughout the game, becoming more powerful and valuable. Players can also breed these Gaias using the Gaia or Gaia Gold tokens, which will be freely tradeable on a vast array of centralized and decentralized exchanges.

Importantly, the Gaia EverWorld team has revealed that members of its ecosystem who hold the Unilayer token will receive the $Gaia token airdrop and the team has successfully taken a snapshot of the eligible early adopters. Coinciding with the airdrop snapshot, the team has launched the Gaia Elite Club, which provides gamers access to exclusive Meaverse merchandise.

Notably, the Gaia IDO across the BSC Station, Seedify, Bullperks, Enjinstarter, and Unilayer were hugely successful, a strong indication of the strong global interest the project has been attracting.
In related Gaia news, the project completed a seed funding round of $3.7 million earlier this year, attracting investment from notable names such as AU21, BSCStation, Aussie Capital, Basics Capital, Panda Capital, and others.
