Polkadot, Aave weak while Pomerdoge presale is firm
People get exposure to crypto in the hopes of turning in a profit. However, profitability depends on fundamental factors. In 2023, more investors are looking at Pomerdoge, with most opting for its native token, POMD, over Polkadot (DOT) and Aave (AAVE).

Polkadot staking elevated, prices under pressure
DOT remains under pressure, dropping 12% in the last month, and is currently trading at $4.98.
However, there is encouraging activity around staking, pushing total value locked (TVL).
On Aug. 11, the staked DOT soared by more than 300% in just 24 hours. There are over 39,000 staking wallets with over 615 million staked DOT.
Aave’s metric suffering
The Aave markets remain fragile.
Latest data from IntoTheBlock shows that the number of daily active addresses on Aave is down 94% from June.
On Jun. 23, the active addresses stood at 11,280 but fell to 514 on Aug. 11.
The number of daily new addresses has also plummeted by 14% during the same period.
Subsequently, AAVE is under pressure, dropping 17% in the last month. As of Aug. 20, AAVE is changing hands at $66.13.
Pomerdoge presale ongoing
Amid the surging interest in play-to-earn (P2E) games, Pomerdoge is capturing market attention, and most investors retain a bullish outlook on the project.
Studies show that the global P2E gaming industry will likely be at a rate of 21% over the next five years. For this reason, some analysts say Pomerdoge launched its P2E platform at an opportune moment.
Pomerdoge’s new P2E game, Pomergame, is where players can compete and earn rewards and prizes for engaging with the platform. Gamers can also create custom items to enhance avatars or trade in-game assets.
Pomerdoge plans to launch 7,777 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that confer certain benefits for holders. Only POMD holders will be eligible to purchase these NFTs.
POMD can be staked for rewards, with VIP holders earning 15% on all staked POMD.
