Registration

The user needs to follow the official Swapin website to register on the platform and click “Get started” or “Go to app”.

Then Swapin will redirect the user to the registration form, where the user will be required to choose the type of account – business or personal.

Personal account. To create it, it is required to enter an email address, set a password and agree to the platform policy.

Business account. To create a corporate account it is required to specify the name and legal form of the company additionally. Also you need to enter your email and set a password.

To complete registration of the account, users need to verify their email. The letter will be sent to the specified email, in which the user needs to click “Verify email”.

After completing the registration process, the Swapin user is provided with introductory access to the platform. You need to pass identity verification to fully use the platform’s tools, thanks to which you can make purchases using cryptocurrency and receive crypto payments.

Filling in all the fields go to the Identity verification tab to confirm all data. Then click “Save & Continue”.

Start Verification

Click “Start verification”. There will be a form, in which it is required to specify a phone number. After that, a link will be sent to the specified phone on which you need to go.

For users convenience, Swapin offers two ways of verification – QR-code or phone number.

By choosing the first option, the service automatically transfers the user to the Veriff website, where you need to upload photos. If you choose the second option, a message will be sent to the specified phone number with a link to the Veriff website.

It is required to upload all the necessary documents: photo of your passport and a selfie with it to the Veriff site.

After the documents are sent, click “Save & Continue” and proceed to the next step.

Level of Verification and limits

Provide all the necessary documents, the user should select the verification level and limit.

Based on the selected verification level, the user will be required to provide the following information: address of residence, which needs to be confirmed, and income information.

In “Your address” section fill in the following:

Country of residence;
County / State;
City;
Postal Code;
Address.

Photos of documents will be required to confirm the address:

Utility bill
Credit card statement
Lease agreement or mortgage statement

Documents can be downloaded in .jpg, .png and .pdf format. It is worth noting , that the company can require legal translation of all documents into English if it is necessary,

To verify income information, the user must provide:

Purpose of transactions;
Employer name;
Net income;
Source of funds.
