HHS Technology has revealed that it has entered into a partnership with Utah government to develop a blockchain-based disaster management solution as part of the revamp of its disaster management system.

Partnership to Facilitate Data Sharing in the Health Sector

HHS Technology will develop and implement a patient’s record solution that would improve data sharing within the healthcare system. This according to the press release issued on September 14, 2020, would help ensure that information is properly delivered to health service providers during cases such as natural disasters and other crises within the State of Utah. 

HHS Technology group is expected to develop the health management based on the HTG MediBook a blockchain-powered solution that enables the sharing and management of data across multiple systems. 

MediBook is a novel blockchain solution that provides easy access to share confidential records of health data among patients and healthcare providers. It also helps to prevent the issue of data losses since the information is stored on a blockchain which guarantees its authenticity and security. 

MediBook is also fully compliant with patient data sharing regulations in the United States and has passed through relevant checks from the Medical regulatory body. Patients’ information will be accessed by healthcare workers via a blockchain digital wallet that guarantees the integrity of data contained within it.
