VeraEsports to Host Exclusive Content of Upcoming VALORANT Tournament
Verasity’s VeraEsports and VALORANT have announced an official eSports partnership centered around the VALORANT Champions Tour APAC, Challengers 2022, which is a part of League of Legends developer Riot Games. With this partnership, VeraEsports users will be able to stream exclusive content, such as special features, match highlights, and more, from the Champions Tour APAC.
The partnership comes at a time when the Asian eSports market is growing at a rapid pace. The Asian eSports market was valued at over $540 million in 2020, which was 54% of the one billion dollar global eSports market. As for the recent market research reports, they indicate that the industry will grow at a record rate of 22.08% between 2022 to 2030.

The VALORANT Championship APAC is a year-long 5vs5 character-based game. The game is divided into three levels, depending on its difficulty. These levels are Challengers, Masters, and Champions.
Launched in 2021, it has been only a year since the VALORANT Championship Tour APAC was first held. In its inaugural year, a total of 1200 players from the Asia-Pacific region took part in the championship. The average viewership throughout the tournament was around 500,000, with the highest viewership numbers crossing one million. The successful first season has helped the VALORANT Championship APAC amass 46 million gameplay views globally.
