Zebec Network sets new standard with SOC 2 compliance for crypto security

Zebec Network (ZBCN) announced today that it has achieved SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) compliance, one of the most rigorous industry standards for security and data privacy. The certification evaluates company’s practices across five areas: infrastructure, product security, organizational safeguards, internal processes, and the handling of sensitive data.
For Zebec, achieving SOC 2 compliance demonstrates that its systems and products meet the requirements expected by enterprises, financial institutions, and regulators, giving businesses and users greater assurance that their funds and information are protected. Specifically, the certification covers Zebec’s payroll and card products.
According to the announcement, the achievement came with Gatenox leading the compliance effort. Zebec acquired Gatenox earlier this year to integrate native KYC, KYB, and AML capabilities into its payment infrastructure.
Zebec Network is expanding compliance efforts
Becoming CO 2-compliant is a major milestone for a project like Zebec Network, as few crypto projects have achieved compliance standards of this caliber. Zebec now joins a select group that has reached this standard, including names like KuCoin and Crypto.com.
In addition to SOC 2 certification, Zebec Network is actively pursuing other key regulatory and security standards. The company has submitted its platform for MiCA compliance under the European Union framework. It’s also targeting ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management systems.
