Avalanche and Filecoin fall, VC Spectra gains traction in presale

Despite new developments and partners, Avalanche (AVAX) and Filecoin (FIL) are under pressure. Meanwhile, amid market turbulence, VC Spectra (SPCT) is firm and edging higher.

Avalanche’s EVM Chain launches, AVAX falls

On Sep. 7, Avalanche launched the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain, Hyperspace, a multichain non-fungible tokens (NFT) marketplace to enhance user experience for traders.

While the debut was highly anticipated, between Sep. 7 and 12, AVAX prices fell 7% from $10.00 to $9.29 even though trading volume rose from $84.48 million to $127.13 million, a 50.49% increase.

The divergence in trading volume and prices has been interpreted as bullish. For this reason, traders predict AVAX to reach $11 by November 2023. 

The Australian Cardiac Institute Partnership partners with Filecoin

On Sep. 4, the Australian Cardiac Research Institute announced the adoption of Filecoin (FIL) for its data storage. 

While bullish, FIL prices fell 2.8% from $3.20 to $3.11 from Sep. 4 to Sep. 12 as the downtrend persisted.

The failure of bulls to ignite demand is fanning bearish predictions, with some analysts expecting FIL to drop to as low as $2.8 by early October. 

With AVAX and FIL under pressure, some investors are exploring alternatives, including VC Spectra’s SPCT.
