EthEnugu ’25

EthEnugu ’25 is South-East Nigeria’s first Ethereum-focused gathering, taking place from August 4–16, in the historic city of Enugu, Nigeria. Blending culture, creativity, and cutting-edge technology, the event offers a unique two-week experience that includes a Builder Residency, an open-access Pop-Up City, and a culminating conference summit. EthEnugu is more than a blockchain event—it’s a cultural and technological movement designed to bridge the gap between local talent and the global Ethereum ecosystem, fostering innovation and collaboration right from the heart of Africa.

The residency brings together 50 selected developers, designers, and founders to live, build, and collaborate under one roof, while the daily Pop-Up City welcomes over 200 local and international participants to co-create and engage with Web3 ideas. From immersive workshops to mentorship by leading minds in Ethereum, EthEnugu ’25 aims to ignite a new generation of builders in the Southeast region. It’s where Enugu’s rich history meets the decentralized future, pushing boundaries and bringing “042 & Africa onchain.”
