Floki crypto price up amid Webull Pay listing, Valhalla traction
Floki, the crypto utility token of the Floki ecosystem, has surged more than 17% in the past week, buoyed by major developments around Webull Pay’s listing and the mainnet launch of the play-to-earn metaverse game Valhalla.
The Floki (FLOKI) token traded around $0.000092, up nearly 3% in the last 24 hours.
As top cryptocurrencies mirrored Bitcoin (BTC)’s spike to above $112k, FLOKI rose to highs above $0.000094. The crypto token’s gains were modest compared to memecoins such as dogwifhat (WIF) and Bonk (BONK). Current price is slightly off the intraday highs.
However, with sentiment bullish following its recent milestones, buyers were looking to erase another zero off the price. Floki has hovered within the $0.00008927–$0.00009483 range.
Floki crypto gains as P2E game hits 1,000 active players
The long-awaited launch of Valhalla, Floki’s flagship P2E multiplayer online role-playing game, finally went live on the opBNB mainnet on July 1.
Valhalla is a metaverse game powered by FLOKI and backed by a multi-million dollar in-game treasury. It rewards players for their skill, strategy, and dedication, with early traction seeing it hit over 1,000 active players within days of launch.
The MMORPG game has also seen players mint over 125,000 Veras, with the total count of these upgradable non-fungible tokens increasing by 25,000 in the past two days.
Floki has also witnessed a surge in network activity, with on-chain transactions surpassing 1 million. These milestones have Valhalla trending as the most active P2E game on opBNB.
Webull Pay lists FLOKI
FLOKI’s price gain this week has come amid another notable development—the listing of the crypto token on Webull Pay, a U.S.-based retail cryptocurrency trading app.
The Webull Pay platform is operated by Webull, a financial services firm that offers access to stocks, exchange-traded funds, options, and bonds, among other assets. Webull Pay boasts a user base of over 24 million, and its support for FLOKI significantly bolsters the token’s liquidity, with FLOKI now accessible to millions more users.
