Label Foundation partners with LG Electronics for ‘Tracks’ music streaming service
Label Foundation is partnering with LG Electronics, a global electronics giant, to launch “Tracks,” a web3 music streaming platform, which will soon be available on the latest version of LG Smart TVs.
Tracks is a popular Life Background Music platform that provides free access to high-quality music playlists and visuals. The service also rewards users based on their time spent listening to music. It is primarily designed for Gen Z, known for their music and visual preferences.
Label has plans to launch Tracks on the latest LG TVs, and an open beta version for mobile devices is scheduled to be released on Sep. 25.
Commenting on the collaboration, Label representatives said:
“With the upcoming launch, numerous TV owners will be able to enjoy music for free, which resonates deeply with Label’s ethos, championing universal music accessibility without financial boundaries. We are happy that our collaboration with LG Electronics made this a reality”.
Meanwhile, Label is committed to improving accessibility to the Tracks platform for web2 users through web3 technology.
This is per the company’s overarching goal of becoming a music industry leader and connecting web3 and web2 domains.
