MonkeyLeague Blockchain Game Onboards AS Roma’s Paulo Dybala as Brand Ambassador
MonkeyLeague has signed AS Roma football star, Paulo Dybala as its latest brand ambassador. As part of the deal, Dybala will be the face of MonkeyLeague’s upcoming marketing and promotional campaigns. The Solana-based Web3 game will be available to the public this quarter.

As it continues to make plans toward the official rollout of the initial releases of its NFT game, MonkeyLegue, a Solana-based Web3 strategy soccer game, has inked a partnership deal with Paulo Dybala, a five-time winner of the Italian Serie A and four-time winner of Coppa Italia.
Per a press release shared with crypto.news, the partnership will see the one-time Italian league’s most valuable player, spearheading MonkeyLeague’s marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns. The Argentine international will also playtest the MonkeyLeague Web3 game prior to its highly anticipated official launch. Paulo’s digital collectible will be among the licensed in-game NFTs.

MonkeyLeague Establishing a Presence in Sports
The MonkeyLeague-Dybala partnership comes on the heels of the former’s alliance with the reigning Italian champions, AC Milan. Just like Paulo, AC Milan will also playtest the MonkeyLeague game, function as design partners for game assets, sponsor esports tournaments, and participate in co-marketing events.
In commemoration of its partnership with AC Milan, on October 6, 2022, MonkeyLeague auctioned 16 limited edition MonkeyPlayer NFTs depicting AC Milan’s glorious ‘93/94 and ‘95/96 teams. The collection, which was sold via the Solana-based NFT marketplace, Magic Eden, attracted various collectors, with one of the NFTs getting purchased for as high as 179 SOL or $6,086 at the time.

In the MonkeyLeague metaverse, the breeding season feature allows Monkey NFT holders to breed the assets to produce new MonkeyAthlete NFTs. During the Paulo Dybala breeding season, his traits will randomly come out of newly minted Monkeys, the team says.
The MonkeyLeague strategy soccer game allows gamers to build their dream team of MonkeyAthlete NFTs that take up various positions on the field of play. Players can use their MonkeyAthletes to compete against other gamers, climb the ranks and earn $MBS tokens for their achievements.
