MOON: Raid launches a unique NFT collection of 6170 gemstones powered by a Space Laser on Ethereum
MOON: Raid is the first-in-the-world NFT entertainment project celebrating the Moon and the spirit of exploration by leveraging the power of an imaginary Space Laser positioned at the moon’s orbit. It features a collection of 6170 unique gemstones mined from one of the five mantles of the moon and invites digital geeks to fire the Space Laser to transform the extraterrestrial matter into a crystal with distinctive texture and composition.
The idea of Moon Gems was born on October 7, 2021 to the digital innovators from Nordics as a commemoration of the 62nd anniversary of the first image of the “dark side” of the moon taken from the distance of 6170. The Team emphasizes MOON:Raid’s NFT-first philosophy, as they aim to serve the community by giving 50% of the royalties back to their members, organizing surprise gem drops, and hosting a futuristic collaboration with the Artist.
Upon joining MOON: Raid, the community member will enter the first out of the seven phases of minting with a starting cost of 0.07 ETH. For a special mint price of 0.05 ETH and access to the VIP-only Discord channel, 1170 members can apply to be whitelisted and be the first to reveal moonstones with a limit of 10 laser shots per wallet.
To acquire a stone, the community member needs to mint and use their primary NFT – a laser shot. Laser shots are fired immediately. Depending on the power, orbital position, and battery charge, NFT-holders can claim one of the five categories of the unique gems: Rare, Super Rare, Hyper Rare, Ultra Rare or Legendary gemstones. Founders estimate millions of possible variations of the stones that depend on the factors like region, structure, shine, flare, irradiation, color, blast time, and laser heat.
The type of the generated gem depends on the subsurface regions of the Moon where it was generated. The closer the region is to the core – the harder it is to penetrate it and the rarer Moongems can be found there. For example, the beam penetrating the Upper Mantle will form the Rare Moongems while the shot reaching the Solid Core can uncover 9 exclusive Legendary stones, later delivered to the luckiest and most persistent space explorers in the virtual space in the form of glass statues.
