Who founded Tron?
Tron was founded by Justin Sun in 2017. Sun is also the founder of BitTorrent and acquired the company in 2019. Tron Foundation, originally based in Singapore, later moved its legal registration to the Cayman Islands. The Tron mainnet launched in June 2018.
