Reef Finance’s REEF Token Now Listed on KuCoin Exchange
Reef Finance has announced that its native REEF token is now listed for trading on the KuCoin cryptocurrency exchange. The team says the altcoin is now available in both Ethereum ERC-20 and Binance Smart Chain BEP-20 formats, according to a blog post on October 18, 2018.
REEF Now Live on KuCoin Exchange
Reef Finance, a distributed ledger technology (DLT) project that claims to be focused on making it for everyone to enjoy the benefits of decentralized finance (DeFi), has announced that its native REEF token is live for trading on KuCoin exchange.
Per a blog post released by the team, REEF holders can now deposit their ERC-20 and BEP-20 assets in Kucoin and trade the REEF/USDT and REEF/BTC pairs on the platform.
For those who are unaware, KuCoin, a Singapore-based bitcoin trading venue established in September 2017, has grown to become one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world, serving more than eight million customers globally.
A Huge Milestone
KuCoin currently supports more than 470 digital assets with more than 900 trading pairs and it’s ranked among the top 10 exchanges in the world by trading volume on CoinGecko, facilitating $2 billion in trades daily.
Commenting on the listing, Denko Mancheski, CEO of Reef Finance said:
“We appreciate KuCoin’s commitment to fostering a world where it’s easy to access digital currencies and move those currencies across different blockchains. KuCoin is a clear leader in the space, and we look forward to collaborating further with their team and community.”
Reef Finance’s Reef Chain Defi blockchain platform is powered by the Substrate Framework, providing users with high scalability, while also enabling instant low-cost transactions. Reef Chain also supports Solidity and Ethereum Virtual Machine (VM), making it possible for developers to migrate their decentralized applications (dApps) from Ethereum in a frictionless way, without having to first change the codebase.
Since its launch in late 2020 via the Binance Launchpool, Reef Finance has seen a significant level of success, inking strategic partnership deals with a good number of established blockchain projects, including TRON.
As reported by BTCManager last June, Reef unveiled a $20 million grant program designed to enhance the development of its DeFi ecosystem and in July 2021, Reef Finance’s REEF token was listed on the Bitfinex exchange.
At press time, the price of REEF is trading around $0.03, according to CoinMarketCap.
