Binance CEO responds to Interpol red notice claims
In response to claims that he is included on Interpol’s red notice list, the chief executive of Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), is attempting to combat the spread of fresh fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD).
A photograph that seems to have been doctored is making the rounds on Twitter. The image depicts a photo of Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) on the red notice web page of Interpol, which gives the impression that the cryptocurrency giant is dealing with significant legal troubles.
CZ asserts that the picture has been digitally altered. To substantiate this claim, he adds that it is patently impossible to be confidential information since there must be leaks inside Interpol, which is very improbable.
The crypto influencer Cobie is credited with starting the rumor when she tweeted a SHA256 hash with an encrypted message stating, “Interpol Red Notice for CZ.”
Cobie asserts that the message was nothing more than an improbable forecast and a rumor and that no one should have been able to read it in the first place.
“Have posted SHA256 hash of rumors more than twenty times in the previous year without the secret being exposed – the purpose of a hash commitment scheme is that nobody is intended to be able to read them until after the secret is revealed.”

In the meantime, CZ encourages players in the cryptocurrency market to disregard unconfirmed rumors and speculation.
“If you panic sell on false information or photographs that have been altered, you probably won’t get wealthy. Put a stop to the sources of FUD.”

A red notice is a request sent to law enforcement agencies all around the globe, instructing them to “find and temporarily arrest a person awaiting extradition, surrender, or comparable legal action.”
