Bitcoin.com Opens Registration for its VERSE Token Sale
Bitcoin.com has announced that registration for its upcoming VERSE token sale is now open. The VERSE token sale event is scheduled to begin in late June 2022. VERSE is a cross-chain ERC-20 utility token distributed to active members of the Bitcoin.com ecosystem.
VERSE Token Registration Now Live
Bitcoin.com, a project that claims to be the global leader in introducing newcomers to crypto and the go-to platform for educational resources, news, and more, has opened registration for its VERSE token sale.
Per a press release shared with crypto.news, Bitcoin.com’s ecosystem includes 30 million wallets and more than five million monthly active users across various products and services. The VERSE token will reward members of the BItcoin.com ecosystem who engage in buying, selling, spending, swapping, and staying informed about crypto.
The team says rewards will be allocated to those who interact with the Verse decentralized exchange (DEX ), stake VERSE, and use it as collateral in supported lending pools. Cashback will also be paid in VERSE and it will unlock other benefits for holders, including access to exclusive products and services.
VERSE is an ERC-20 token designed to support cross-chain interoperability. The team says it’s looking to explore opportunities to expand the token into low-fee Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible networks, to provide an optimal user experience.
With a fixed supply of 210 billion, VERSE token will be distributed over seven years through a block-to-block mechanism as follows:
- 10 percent sold during Sale A (completed in May 2022)
- Six percent to be sold during Sale B (in June 2022)
- 15 percent allocated to the team
- 35 percent set aside for ecosystem incentives
- 34 percent will be used for funding future developments of the Verse ecosystem
$33.6 Million Raised
The Verse team claims the project has already gained the support of investors in the blockchain space, as the first VERSE token sale round conducted in April attracted a massive $33.6 million from notable names like Blockchain.com, KuCoin, Digital Strategies, Roger Ver, Jihan Wu, and David Wachsman.
What’s more, the Verse project now boasts more than 25,000 participants combined across Telegram and Discord.

Interested participants (U.S. residents are not eligible) in the upcoming VERSE token sale are required to register on the Verse website and they will be notified as soon as the token sale goes live.
Registrants are required to have an Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask, Bitcoin.com wallet, or any other one.
The supported payment methods for the VERSE token sale include bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), USDT, USDC, and bitcoin cash (BCH). VERSE tokens will be minted after the conclusion of the Verse public sale in July 2022.
