Bitcoin mining is becoming more competitive, and every terahash and every kilowatt-hour matters more than ever.
The industry is actively looking for tools to get maximum performance and efficiency from mining equipment, and firmware is one of the most powerful of them.
With this in mind, BiXBiT has released BiXBiT Antminer Firmware, custom firmware for Antminer S21, S19, T21, T19, L9, and L7 series miners. It is designed to improve their performance, stability, and energy efficiency. Early deployments show up to 40% higher hashrate and up to 35% better energy efficiency, achieved through auto-tuned performance profiles, flexible power targets, and improved thermal management. The firmware also works together with BiXBiT AMS 3.0, a centralized platform for managing mining operations.
The release is part of BiXBiT’s broader mining ecosystem, which connects device-level optimization with site-level management.

Tuning tools
The firmware generates performance profiles based on the condition of each miner, and operators can switch between them without stopping the device. It also supports downvolting, per-board control, fan tuning, and configurable temperature limits.
Miners stay online when a hashboard fails
If a hashboard becomes unstable, the firmware disables it automatically and the miner continues running on the remaining boards instead of shutting down. In large fleets, this reduces downtime and lets technicians schedule repairs instead of reacting to every fault immediately.
Compatibility and safety
The firmware works on devices running Bitmain stock firmware released before August 2026. Stock versions released in August 2026 and later are not yet supported.
Extended Capabilities for Partners
The partner edition stays installed after reboot on CVitek control boards, which reduces reflashing across large fleets. Partners also get volume-based DevFee rates, White Label options, custom feature development, early access to updates, and joint marketing support.
Fleet management through AMS 3.0

Miners running the firmware connect to BiXBiT AMS 3.0, a centralized platform for monitoring and managing ASIC fleets. Operators track hashrate, temperature, power consumption, and profitability, run bulk actions, and receive real-time alerts in Telegram and Discord.
AMS also supports BiXBiT firmware for Whatsminer and manages mining containers, Smart PDUs, and cooling systems, linking device-level optimization with site-level control.
Availability
New users can access BiXBiT Antminer Firmware with a reduced DevFee for their first 30 days.
