BTG, PUPS and ABT surge double digits while BTC hovers $86k
The prices of Bitcoin Gold, Pups and Arcblock have pumped double digits while the overall market bleeds.
According to the latest market data, the crypto market is in a bearish outlook, with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) struggling to sustain the $86,000 and $2,200 levels.
XRP (XRP) has shown the highest gains, with a 5.5% surge in the last 24 hours. Amidst this mixed performance, a few less popular tokens have surged to put on a rally.
As per CoinGecko’s top crypto gainers list, BTG has jumped close to 50% in the last 24 hours. While the coin has lost 87% in the last year and 35% in the last 30 days alone, it has reversed course with its price jump.
BTG surged from a 24-hour low of $2.55 to as high as $3.95. A closer look at their social media channels shows that there haven’t been any developments that could explain the price pump.
The second coin on the list is PUPS, with a 35% surge from $0.02137 to $0.03012. The meme coin built on the Bitcoin chain has been getting some attention on X.
Some analysts are speculating that the market attention could shift to old Runes like DOG, PUPS and RUNECOIN when Bitcoin AMM platform OdinFun gets traction.
The third coin on the top gainers list is ABT with a 32% surge. ABT climbed as high as $1.04 before retracing to its current price of $0.9895.
ABT has also been trending recently on CoinMarketCap’s list of “Top Made in America Tokens by Market Capitalization.” They also recently tweeted about how ABT is a 100% USA-based coin and featured on CoinMarketCap’s list.
