Shield Swap partners with Flowdesk for confidential institutional trading

Shield Swap has announced a collaboration with Flowdesk to provide liquidity for institutional and professional traders while keeping their positions and strategies confidential.

Shield Swap’s announcement says the collaboration connects its confidential trading platform with Flowdesk, a global liquidity provider and digital asset trading and technology firm.

Flowdesk supplies liquidity for confidential trading

According to the announcement, Flowdesk will support liquidity for assets moving through Shield Swap, giving professional traders access to popular trading pairs without exposing their full trading activity to public observers.

Flowdesk combines financial and crypto expertise with algorithmic and proprietary trading systems. The announcement describes its network as connected across more than 150 centralized and decentralized markets, providing over-the-counter trading and liquidity services to institutional investors, token issuers, and exchanges.

Within the collaboration, Flowdesk manages liquidity pools while positions shielded inside Shield Swap remain confidential, the companies said.

Shield Swap keeps identities and balances confidential

Shield Swap says participants can execute trades without publishing their identity, holdings, and strategy to the market. Participant identities stay off the public ledger, while portfolio balances remain encrypted to each participant’s keys.

The platform’s stated protections prevent public observers from viewing a participant’s full activity. According to the announcement, subsequent holdings remain confidential once positions are shielded within the platform.

Every trade creates an encrypted compliance record that can be reviewed when access is legally compelled, the announcement states.

Early access is open to institutional and professional investors through the platform’s website, shield.fi.
