Trezor becomes target of new phishing campaign
Anonymous blockchain sleuth ZachXBT took to Telegram on Oct. 26 to alert users of phishing emails associated with Trezor purchases.
The belief is that this might be part of a larger data breach for Trezor, the major provider of crypto hardware wallets or Evri, the UK-based delivery company that would have shipped Trezor.

In response, Tezor took to X in an Oct. 27 post, saying,
“Hi, thanks for letting us know; we are looking into it.” Also, reiterating some safety reminders for product users.
It is worth noting that on Feb. 28, Trezor also took to X to alert users of the potential of a brewing phishing scam.
Crypto.news has reached out to Trezor for a comment but has yet to have received a response at the time of writing.
Following news of a release
The alert comes just over two weeks after Trezor announced the launch of two new products at the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference in the Netherlands.
Following the announcement, The Trezor Safe 3, a third generation of Trezor’s flagship hardware wallet and Trezor Metal, a premium metal backup device, were introduced to the public.
