TRUMP memecoin launches dinner contest for top 185 holders as token falls 97% - 1

TRUMP memecoin’s organizers have opened a contest offering 185 holders seats at a Nov. 22 dinner featuring President Donald Trump, with the token trading around $2.04 on Oct. 1, roughly 97% below its peak.

Summary
  • 185 holders can qualify for the Nov. 22 gala through a time-weighted leaderboard.
  • 29 top-ranked holders receive VIP access, while four qualify for 18K gold Trump watches.
  • Nearly 989,000 wallets recorded $3.81 billion in losses through June, according to Nansen.
  • U.S. senators previously requested an SEC investigation into the token and its financial arrangements.

Fight Fight Fight LLC, the company operating the TRUMP Coin Club, has announced a gala at Trump National in Washington, D.C., with eligibility determined by a Nov. 12 snapshot. According to the event page, Trump will appear alongside three advertised celebrity guests, described as “legends.”

The organizers also list a separate meet-and-greet with a celebrity whose identity has yet to be announced, while explicitly excluding private presidential meetings.

TRUMP memecoin dinner rewards sustained holdings

Under the published leaderboard rules, participants receive scores based on how many tokens they hold and how long they retain them during the measurement period. The event page says standings update daily, with the top 185 qualifying for dinner and the top 29 receiving a VIP reception and front-row dinner seating.

For existing Coin Club members, the organizers require a separate dinner registration. According to the registration page, membership or participation in an earlier contest does not automatically enter a holder into the November competition.

The event page lists Sep. 30 through Nov. 12 as the scoring window. However, the project’s terms, last modified Sep. 29, specify Oct. 5 through Nov. 12 as the gala measurement period.

For eligible participants in the project’s Formula 1 contest, the terms provide a bonus equal to 10% of their final F1 score. The rules require them to retain at least their Oct. 1 token balance throughout the dinner measurement period to receive that bonus.

After the Nov. 12 snapshot at 1 p.m. Eastern, the event page requires VIP qualifiers to maintain at least their snapshot token balance through Nov. 22. Selling below that level may forfeit VIP bonuses, although the page says the holder can still attend dinner.

According to the organizers, the top four VIP holders qualify for an 18K gold Trump watch. The event page also lists fragrance, a commemorative poster, a trading card, and a Fight Fight Fight watch for attendees, with all gifts distributed in person and no shipping available.

Holder losses total billions despite Trump-linked earnings

TRUMP price was trading at about $2.04 on Oct. 1, roughly 97% below the token’s January 2025 peak near $73–$75.

As crypto.news reported on July 4, Nansen’s analysis put combined holder losses at $3.81 billion across 988,905 wallets through the end of June. The estimate included losses from completed sales and declines in the value of tokens still held.

In the same analysis, Nansen found that roughly two-thirds of wallets that purchased TRUMP had lost money. Fewer than 500,000 profitable wallets recorded about $4 billion in gains, with profits concentrated among early buyers, according to the July report.

Trump’s financial disclosure, cited in that coverage, reported a $636 million payout tied to the memecoin and at least $1.4 billion in crypto-related income. The report attributed much of that income to memecoin licensing arrangements and World Liberty Financial token sales.

On the project’s official website, the organizers state that CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC collectively own 80% of the token allocation, subject to a three-year unlocking schedule. The website also identifies CIC Digital and Celebration Cards LLC as recipients of trading revenue.

In a July 25 report on TRUMP custody transfers, Arkham Intelligence tracked 16.84 million tokens worth about $16.91 million moving to three Fireblocks custody addresses. According to Arkham, all three addresses had previously received TRUMP and later transferred tokens to BitGo.

The firm questioned whether the July transactions involved token unlock distributions.

Earlier dinners drew congressional demands for answers

The November gathering follows a May 2025 dinner for the top 220 holders and an April 2026 event for 297 holders, according to the project’s earlier event announcements.

In coverage published April 25, the Mar-a-Lago holder gala included a VIP reception for the top 29 participants. The report also described a letter from Senators Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff and Richard Blumenthal seeking documents about event planning, attendee vetting and financial arrangements.

In that letter, the senators wrote:

“Congress must also take steps to prohibit and prevent these egregious conflicts of interest.”

The April report cited a Bloomberg analysis suggesting that 19 of the top 25 holders in the earlier dinner contest were likely foreign nationals. The senators argued that linking token purchases to presidential access created conflicts of interest.

For the November gala, the current event terms exclude citizens and residents of Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Russia, Syria and Yemen, along with jurisdictions covered by comprehensive U.S., EU or UN sanctions.

Senators sought an SEC review of TRUMP

On August 4, Warren and Blumenthal requested an investigation into whether the token involved fraudulent activity or improper insider gains, according to coverage published that day. Addressing SEC Chair Paul Atkins, the senators cited investor losses and Trump’s reported earnings.

Their request asked the agency to examine the project’s conduct; it did not announce an SEC enforcement finding.

In its own winter-event terms, Fight Fight Fight LLC warns that promotional events do not mean the company, CIC Digital, or its affiliates have stopped disposing of tokens under a previously announced plan. The terms also say leaderboard activity may increase volatility and that price gains may be temporary.

Separately, on-chain analyst EmberCN reported on Aug. 29 that wallets associated with Trump Digital Gold sold 824.54 million GOLD tokens, representing 82.454% of its supply, for about $1.01 million. GOLD is a separate Solana token from Official TRUMP.
