Zebec Network unveiled its 2026 compliance roadmap focused on institutional DeFi adoption.
Zebec Network, the real-time programmable payroll settlement protocol, announced its 2026 Institutional Compliance Initiative, a comprehensive roadmap of enterprise certifications, regulatory alignments, and financial infrastructure integrations designed to position the protocol as the compliance backbone of institutional decentralized finance.
The announcement formalizes a series of milestones achieved in the final quarter of 2025 and codifies the protocol’s institutional strategy for the year ahead.
Key integrations and certifications achieved
In late 2025, Zebec announced its application to join the Nacha Payments Innovation Alliance, Nacha’s industry membership and engagement program, which brings together payments industry stakeholders across financial services, technology, and fintech. Nacha itself governs the U.S. ACH network, which processed $93 trillion in transactions in 2025. The membership was officially confirmed by Nacha in Q1 2026, as part of a cohort of 20 new members publicly announced in April 2026. Confirmed cohort members include Circle, alongside hundreds of other organizations across the payments ecosystem.
In the same period, Zebec reported completing its ISO 20022 alignment process, working toward the international financial messaging standard used by SWIFT, central banks, and major cross-border payment networks globally. ISO 20022 compatibility is a technical prerequisite for any financial infrastructure seeking integration with regulated settlement systems.
Zebec also completed its integration with NatPay, a U.S. payroll processing firm that routes more than $158 billion in transactions annually across 318,000 ACH clients. The integration enables employers to disburse employee wages simultaneously through both traditional ACH/FedNow channels and Zebec’s real-time blockchain streaming layer from a single unified dashboard. This dual-rail capability represents the first production-grade bridge between legacy payroll infrastructure and programmable blockchain settlement at institutional volume.
2026 initiative: What is being formalized
The 2026 Institutional Compliance Initiative consolidates these achievements into a structured framework covering four pillars: (1) regulatory certification including MiCA white paper preparation and ongoing enterprise security certification processes; (2) treasury transparency including public on-chain buyback mechanisms funded by verifiable protocol revenue; (3) enterprise connectivity including expansion of the NatPay and Nacha partnerships to additional regional payroll networks; and (4) tokenomics finalization including the completion of all vesting schedules in March 2026, after which ZBCN transitions to a fully deflationary model with no new supply entering circulation.
The buyback program, which uses revenue from payroll processing fees, card transaction volume, and enterprise licensing contracts to purchase ZBCN on the open market, has operated continuously since the program’s inception. All buyback transactions are publicly verifiable on-chain.
Statement from Zebec Network founder
“We started Zebec with one observation: workers all over the world were waiting days or weeks to access money they had already earned. We built the infrastructure to fix that problem, and the only way to deliver that infrastructure to enterprises at scale is to meet the compliance standards they require. Everything we have done over the past 18 months, the ISO alignment work, the Nacha membership, the NatPay integration, follows from that original commitment. The 2026 initiative formalizes what the protocol has been building toward since day one.”

About Zebec Network
Zebec Network is a multi-chain programmable payment infrastructure protocol enabling real-time, continuous financial disbursements for payroll, business-to-business settlements, and consumer remittances. Founded in 2021 by Sam Thapaliya, the protocol originally deployed on Solana and has since expanded to a multi-chain architecture across BNB Chain and additional networks via the Nautilus Chain layer. Zebec’s enterprise product suite includes WageLink (real-time employer payroll disbursement), Zebec Pay (multi-asset payment cards), and a SuperApp consolidating staking, payroll, and card management into a single interface. ZBCN is the protocol’s native utility and governance token.
