Crypto community puzzled as CZ unfollows Musk on Twitter

CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ, has unfollowed tech entrepreneur Elon Musk on Twitter, provoking rumors and FUD.

The move has sparked speculation among the crypto community, with various theories circulating about the potential reasons behind this action.

Julian Hosp, CEO at Cake DeFi, revealed that CZ had also unfollowed him on social media. Hosp expressed his curiosity, seeking insights into the possible motives behind this decision.

Another individual named Lucra, who identifies as a member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), suggested that the unfollowing might be related to Elon Musk’s recent involvement with eToro US, a crypto exchange platform. 

According to Lucra’s theory, Musk’s decision to invite eToro US as Twitter’s crypto exchange partner instead of Binance may have prompted CZ’s action. Notably, CZ had reportedly played a role in funding Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.

While these speculations provide some context, no official statements have been released by either CZ or Elon Musk regarding the unfollowing. As the crypto community awaits further clarity, the motivations behind CZ’s decision remain open to interpretation.
