Ethereum Foundation allocated $8m in projects in Q3

The total amount of funds awarded by the Ethereum Foundation in Q3 summed up to $8 million, with community, education, consensus, and many other projects receiving the grants.

The Ethereum Foundation officially confirmed the recipient projects and distribution information for Q3 2022. The total award funds comprised $8.04 million.

The grants were given to 69 projects in multiple categories, such as community and education, consensus layer, layer 2, general research, indirect funding, developer experience, tooling, and cryptographic and knowledge tools.

In Q1 and Q2, the Ethereum Foundation granted a total of $8.2 million to various projects. In comparison to 2021, when it allocated almost $23.8 million, 2022 so far represents a 46% program cut.
