Binance partners with FC Shakhtar Donetsk for web3 development

Binance, the world’s largest exchange by trade volume, announced a sports partnership with FC Shakhtar Donetsk, a renowned Ukrainian football club.

The club will be the first partner to benefit from Binance Web Services (BWS) that introduces companies and organizations into the web3 world. Binance also launched FC Shakhtar Fanverse to connect football fans to cryptocurrency.

Binance takes FC Shakhtar Donetsk into the ‘fanverse’ world 

Binance has partnered with FC Shakhtar Donetsk in their new web3 services venture and officially introduced the FC Shakhtar Fanverse on April 4.

The FC Shakhtar Fanverse is a project for football and cryptocurrency fans to participate in club-related activities and win incentives. The prizes range from signed jerseys, match tickets, and meet-and-greet with FC Shakhtar players. 

Fans must start by claiming a Binance Fanverse Passport to join the activities and earn the rewards. The users will pick a Super Passport or Experience Passport depending on different factors such as ID verification, new user status, and referrals. 

The fanverse will also let football fans show their prowess by predicting FC Shakhtar’s games. Fans will stake for the FC Shakhtar Fanverse total prize pool of $36,000 by predicting the scores of future match fixes.

What is Binance Web3 Services (BWS)?

Binance has launched a project, Binance Web3 Services (BWS), to assist any company transitioning from web2 to web3.

BWS will offer the firms needing web3 consulting services. The consulting service include metaverse and gaming partnerships, token and NFT strategies, web3 business plans, web3 operating guidance, and web3 membership systems. 

BWS will also offer customized Progressive Web App (PWA) that provide app-like experiences to users through web browsers.

Users will experience a smoother and well-integrated experience without downloading the applications. PWAs also aim at improving user reachability and business discoverability. 

Binance aims to streamline the transition from web2 to web3 by providing all the resources and tackling all the technical procedures, including market, risk, financial analysis, legal processes, troubleshooting, product strategy and set-up, and business strategies.

The Binance Fan Token Platform is a crypto hub for football fans and their teams. Binance has partnered with several sports teams, such as FC Shakhtar, Lazio from Italy, Porto from Portugal, BWT Alpine, and Santos from Brazil.

Binance is partnering with clubs and brands in sports, e-sports, e-gaming, and entertainment to bring a more wholesome experience to the fans by using cryptos.
