Crypto banking app Juno auctions Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT
Juno, a banking app for crypto users, has launched an auction involving Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFT. The highest bid so far is $1,200 in JCOIN.
Juno launched an NFT auction dubbed Juno Drops on Dec. 21. Per the bank’s official account on Twitter, it will only last 48 hours.
Three Otherside NFTs and one Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) are included on the roster. The only way to place a bid is with JCOIN, Juno’s in-app rewards token.
According to Juno’s website, the highest bid for MAYC NFT is currently 175,000 JCOIN, equal to $1,211 at the current market price.
MAYC from Yuga Labs is one of the most sought-after NFT collections worldwide, with a lifetime trading volume of 470,00 ETH. Its sibling collection Otherside is a stand-alone metaverse where the Otherdeed NFTs may be transformed into genuine gaming characters, get access to various experiences there, and participate in open-world games.
JCOIN price and history
JCOIN is a Juno loyalty token that is based on the ERC-20 standard. Imagine it as an AMEX rewards program that is entirely on-chain. Owners of Juno checking accounts receive JCOIN for carrying out specific basic tasks, including using their Juno card to make purchases or introducing friends to the platform. As a result, even if you are not yet a Juno member, you may still bid in the auction by registering and acquiring JCOIN.

Juno is looking to go big in the NFT space
The Juno team intends to host a special NFT drop each month and auction off the most valuable NFTs to celebrate the dynamic field of digital art.
Each drop will include one or more NFTs from the Juno NFT Treasury. For the Yugaverse collection, the starting bid for the first drop is 50K JCOIN. When the auction ends, the highest bidder can claim the NFT after three days.
