DWF Labs announces investment into user-generated gaming
DWF Labs announced its investment in MOBOX, a prominent player in web3 gaming known for its interoperable assets and ecosystem of games.
New capital from DWF Labs is said to further accelerate MOBOX’s growth strategy, increasing liquidity across multiple exchanges, fostering synergy between portfolios, forging key regional partnerships, and facilitating collaboration on public relations and offline events.
As shared on Medium, in 2021, MOBOX secured its listing on Binance Launchpool, positioning itself as a pioneer in web3 gaming with a community of over 3 million users.
At the beginning of December, MOBOX introduced the alpha launch of DragonVerse Neo, a co-created and co-governed open world that would provide the community with the authority to shape its content and influence the world’s trajectory. DragonVerse Neo signifies a significant step in MOBOX’s journey toward a community-driven User-Generated Content (UGC) game production model focused on establishing open, sustainable, and prosperous economies.
“Our support for MOBOX underscores our belief in a gaming platform propelled by user-generated content,” Andrei Grachev said in a release. “The fusion of UGC gaming and blockchain technology within MOBOX empowers both creators and players, aligning seamlessly with our vision of decentralized gaming.”
This marks another year-end investment for DWF Labs, following up on a Dec. 5 announcement that the firm had also strengthened its partnership with the FLOKI ecosystem by acquiring a significant amount of FLOKI tokens, totaling $1.25 million. The acquisition, conducted over the counter, underscored DWF Labs’ confidence in meme coins amid the current bullish market trends.
