TAO crypto targets breakout to $1,000 as AI tokens heat up
Bittensor price is right up at a key trend line resistance amid a 34% uptick in the past week, with buyers riding the latest bullish sentiment across the artificial intelligence market.
The Bittensor (TAO) token traded at $438 on July 16, up 2% in the past 24 hours.
But with huge gains in the past week, bulls have a chance to accelerate upward for a major breakout.
Notably, TAO crypto isn’t the only AI related coin to nudge higher today. NEAR Protocol, Internet Computer, Render and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance have all notched gains, with these tokens moving up amid a spike in global search interest.
Near Protocol price was up nearly 5% to $2.67, while Internet Computer jumped 3% on Wednesday to $5.52. ICP benefited from the launch of early access to CaffeineAI.
Meanwhile, Render and Artificial Superintelligence Alliance prices were up 5% and 8% in the past 24 hours respectively.
Google search for TAO at all time high
Recent news around tech giants Google and Meta making massive investments in the AI space have contributed to the overall bullishness.
Per one analyst, Bittensor is among the AI tokens to witness a parabolic rise in search interest. Google Trends shows search interest for Bittensor is at all-time highs, with China showing a “100/100 signal strength.”
Bittensor price is looking to break above $500 and potentially target the $1000-$1,800 area amid another key development. This relates to the upcoming network boost when swaps between SOL and TAO go live. Solana ecosystem users will soon be able to tap into a new bridge to swap TAO and SOL.
While decentralized AI gets notable interest to spotlight tokens such as TAO, another major catalyst is the regulatory landscape.
The “crypto week” sentiment has investors eyeing market clarity amid the push for U.S. lawmakers to pass key blockchain and crypto regulation.
U.S. president Donald Trump has previously said America is set to become the crypto capital of the world.
