TrustWallet to support cross-chain swaps via THORChain

TrustWallet announces the ability to swap pairs across BTC, ETH, BNB and BUSD directly in the app, as it partners with THORChain.

Cross-chain swaps are now possible on Trust Wallet

On Thursday, the Trust Wallet team announced on Twitter that the app now supports in-app cross-chain swaps via its integration with THORChain.

The transactions between blockchains in Trust Wallet will no longer require users to interface with complex protocols or use a fiat connection. In addition, the app will not charge any fees for cross-chain swaps. 

The feature appeared following the partnership with THORChain. Currently, traders can perform cross-chain swaps with BTC, ETH, BNB Bep 2 and BUSD Bep 2 on Android only. However, iOS will roll out the necessary support soon. 

A month ago, the price of Trust Wallet’s native token, TWT, reached an all-time high when the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, urged crypto community members to use the wallet to take ownership of their digital assets.

Zhao suggested starting with little sums to familiarize oneself with the technology and reduce the risk of making expensive blunders. As Zhao also pointed out, using Trust Wallet is a simple way to keep your cryptocurrency in a secure location.
