MoonPay and Change Angel Ally With the DigiByte Foundation, Fee Sharing Formula Announced
Of note, a new fee-sharing formula was also announced. Fees will be shared between Change Angel, DigiByte Foundation, and DigiByte Awareness Team (DGBAT).
The most critical update was the revelation that collected fees will be used to offset expenses accruing from developers and general marketing. Marketing is important and helps DigiByte grow.
Being a dedicated and a distinct division advancing the DigiByte project, the DGBAT has timely received the right kind of support needed for the achievement of their overarching goals.
The team has over 20+ core group managing teams across different social media platforms. Coordination for successful outreach requires funds. As such, capital injection from fees will ease the DGBAT’s burden for the greater good of the project.
DGB Price March and DigiByte Foundation Deals
Year-to-date, DGB is up an impressive 148% against the USD. The coin continues to find success as in late June, it was listed by major cryptocurrency exchange Binance. Notably, the listing by Binance came shortly after prominent US crypto exchange Coinbase announced that it was mulling introducing support for DGB and 17 other digital assets.
To drive awareness, on July 14, 2020, the DigiByte Foundation donation launched the DigiBee registration platform to boost community involvement.
The DigiByte Foundation also struck a deal with ZelaaPayAE (ZPAE) to spread awareness and bootstrap adoption for the DGB cryptocurrency in the United Arab Emirates by placing cryptocurrency point-of-sale systems and Visa debit cards across the country among enterprise merchants.
From the fundamental end, the Republic Protocol now supports DGB. Together with other mainstream coins such as Bitcoin, DGB coin can now be tokenized (renDGB) and subsequently used by DeFi dApps.
At press time, DGB trades at $0.024, up by 0.7% in the 24-hour trading period, per data from CoinGecko.
